Who is the course for?

  • This is an entry-level course for anyone with some general experience in lifts and weight training, wanting to learn the Olympic lifts

Practical Workshop

The six practical sessions will take you through a variety of Olympic lifts.

The Olympic lifts are very skilful movements that rely on a combination of good technique, high levels of strength and power, and good flexibility.

During the workshop you will concentrate on:

  • The Snatch

  • The Clean

  • The Jerk

How long does it take to complete the course?​

  • 9 hours of practical sessions (6 x 1.5 hour sessions)


  • You must be above the age of 17 years old

  • Have some general experience of the lifts and weight training

  • There is no certification on completion of this course
