How can I become a member?

Join online or drop into see us at Elyte Fitness to view the facilities and ask any questions you might have.

How much is the membership per month?

Our memberships are as follows:
Gym Only - £38.00

Gyms & Bootcamps - £55.00

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

One of the best things about being a member at Elyte Fitness is that you are not tied down by lengthy contracts. You have complete freedom to cancel your membership at any time, with no penalties, all we ask is that you give us a months notice. However, we hope you choose to stay with us!

Can I try before I buy?

We offer Single Session passes, which can be used within 7 days of purchasing.

These passes can be purchased via our website, giving you the opportunity to experience Elyte Fitness before purchasing a no-contract, monthly rolling membership.

What is the minimum age to join Elyte Fitness?

Anyone over 16 can join Elyte on either a full membership or single session pass. 


Members under 18 must be accompanied by an adult when using the gym. 

Is Personal Training available?

Yes, this is available at an affordable additional cost either on a one-to-one or group basis.

Our personal trainers charge £35.00 per session.

What is my Member ID?

You will be able to find your MemberID on the email you receive when you join us.

Alternatively, underneath the barcode on the following:

How can I upgrade my membership?

You can upgrade your membership by contacting us at info@elytefitness.co.uk.


You can also downgrade it back to the standard membership at any time.

What does freezing my membership mean?

We know that plans don't always work out, injuries occur and sometimes life just gets in the way.

Because of this, we let you freeze rather than cancel your membership, just in case you want to rejoin in a few months' time, once you've recovered or once you're ready to give those fitness goals another crack. By freezing your membership you hold your place at Elyte Fitness. It will also hold the current membership price.

You are able to freeze your membership by contacting us at reception. Please note your membership and PIN will be frozen immediately. We advise you to freeze your membership at least 4 working days before your usual collection date, or we may not be able to change your details in time, and the full monthly amount will still be taken.

How do I unfreeze my membership?

You can unfreeze your membership by speaking to us at reception. Please allow 10 minutes for your MemberID to activate once you unfreeze your membership.

How can I cancel my membership?

Before cancelling your membership, have you considered freezing your membership?

If you'd prefer to cancel, you can do this by simply contacting us to cancel the direct debit.

You must cancel your direct debit with us at least 4 working days before your next payment is due.  As soon as the direct debit with your bank is cancelled, your MemberID will be deactivated immediately.

 

Equipment & Facilities

Are there lockers?

Yes, at Elyte Fitness we have lockers available to keep your belongings in whilst you work out.


As the Gym rules state, all lockers must only be used for the duration of your training session and all items are left at the owners risk. Please be aware: lockers are cleared of belongings every night by Gym staff.

Do you provide parking at Elyte Fitness?

The Elyte Fitness car park is based on the corner of Lancaster Way and not directly outside of the facility.

Are there changing facilities and showers at Elyte Fitness?

Unfortunately there are no changing facilities and showers at this present time at Elyte Fitness.

Payment Options

Can I pay by cash or card?

Monthly memberships are paid via Direct Debit or recurring card payment by Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard or Maestro.

The signup section of the website is secure, and any details entered will be encrypted before being sent to the server. We assure you that your personal and banking details will be kept private.

Unfortunately we do not have a cash option.

How can I rejoin?

If your membership has expired, you can rejoin by visiting the joining page, and selecting a membership.

If you need some help, we are available via the live chat button in the bottom right hand corner of this page!

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we offer discounts for the following:

- Lancaster Way Business Discount

- NHS Discount

- First Response Service Discount 

The discount for the above is £33.00 for Gym Only & £50.00 for Gym & Bootcamp.

When does the first month's payment come out of my bank?

Your first payment will be collected on either of the following dates (whichever one is the closest following your joining date) 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd; this will cover your first month’s membership at Elyte Fitness. Subsequent monthly payments will be debited one month after joining and will continue on or just after the same day of each month thereafter.
